Scanning

You can scan photos and documents and then save, share or print the files with the Epson iPrint app.

  1. Tap Scan on the app's home screen.


     
  2. Place your document or photo on the scanner glass, or place your document in your printer's ADF.
     
  3. Tap  and adjust the scan settings as necessary.

    Note: Make sure the Source setting is correct or your document or photo will not scan.
     
  4. Tap Scan.



    Your photo or document scans and appears.


     
  5. If necessary, tap and drag the crop marks on the corner of the image.
     
  6. Do one of the following:

    • Tap  to save your scan to your device's storage, a cloud storage service, or to open the scan in another app. Select your destination, enter a name for the scan, select the file type, and tap Save or Upload.


       
    • Tap  to email your scan. Enter a name, select a file type, and tap Mail.


       
    • Tap  to print your scan. Tap  to select any print settings. When you're done, tap Print.

Using Document Capture You can capture a document with your device camera and then format, enhance, save, or print the document with the Epson iPrint app. Tap  Document Capture  on the app’s home screen.   Aim your device camera at the document. Make sure the document is within the on-screen guides. Note : Tap   and adjust the capture settings as necessary.   Tap  Capture . Printing Documents You can print Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint files as well as PDF files with the Epson iPrint app. Tap  Print Documents  on the app's home screen.   Locate your document and tap it.   Do the following, as necessary: To change the paper size, print quality, and other settings, tap  .   To navigate between your document's pages, tap   and  .   When you're ready to print, tap  Print . https://epson.com/Support/wa00876

Connecting to a Printer on Your Network Before connecting to your Epson printer, make sure that both your Android device and printer are connected to the same wireless network. Open the Epson iPrint app.   Tap  Printer is not selected. Tap here to select a printer . Do one of the following: Tap your printer on the  Local  tab. Note:  If you don't see your printer, make sure your Android device and printer are connected to the same wireless network and tap  Search  at the bottom of the screen to search again. If you still don’t see your printer, you can connect manually to the printer from the  Manual IP  tab or tap  Wi-Fi Direct Setup . To manually add a printer on your current network, tap the  Manual IP  tab. Tap  Add , enter the IP address for the printer, and tap  Done.
